THE 1ST EXCELLENT NURSING & MEDICAL TECHNICIAN CLINICAL SKILLS COMPETITION 2023
On the morning of April 26, 2023, Sante Hospital organized the 1st Excellent Nursing & Medical Technician Clinical Skills Competition 2023, centered around the theme “The Role of Nursing in Cultivating Hospital Culture and Ensuring Patient Safety.” This initiative represents a core pillar in the hospital’s continuous professional education and medical training curriculum.
The competition aims to inspire a spirit of continuous learning among nursing staff while reinforcing each member's accountability in cultivating Sante’s signature culture of excellence. Above all, it serves to refine specialized expertise, medical ethics, and compassionate bedside manner across the nursing and technical teams, thereby elevating patient and family satisfaction while advancing the highest standards of professional clinical care.
The competition comprised two comprehensive stages: The theoretical examination was conducted via a software-based multiple-choice platform, covering hospital nursing protocols, institutional policies, patient safety standards, biosafety, and infection control. The practical examination evaluated core clinical proficiencies: Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), intravenous infusion, wound dressing, and blood typing (for Nursing Staff); CPR and intravenous infusion (for Radiologic Technicians); CPR, phlebotomy, and blood typing (for Laboratory Technicians).
Driven by the commendable dedication and effort of all candidates, alongside the transparent, rigorous, and precise evaluation process maintained by the Examination Board and Organizing Committee, the competition concluded with resounding success.
